With the flood and other issues, I really only have pics of the outside of the house, but I promised to post some, so here you go :)

And It Begins . . . First of How Many Baseball Practices in Our Lives?

Robby is playing t-ball this year.  While he is a bit younger than I had anticipated, all of his friends are on a team together, and he really wanted to play.  So, we bit the bullet and signed him up.  He had his first practice last week.  It didn't go so well.  He was too intimidated to participate, so instead of playing with his friends, he apparently just clung to his daddy.

So, this week, I decided to go too to serve as a cheering section.  We also talked about it all week long, preparing him to go.  He was super excited to go the first week, and then this week, he did not want to go at all.  But, we went anyway, and it turned out great!  While he was initially shy, he quickly warmed up and by the end of practice was actively participating in all of the different drills they were working on.  He was on cloud nine the whole way home and can't wait for next week.

So, that leaves me with just one nagging question.  ....what was I thinking???  Knowing how baseball seems to get into people's blood in a dramatic and irreversable way in my family, I may have just added the newest member of that group.

First attempt at running the bases--still very unsure

Playing catch with Daddy is really fun

He was the last hitter at practice.  This hit was a really big one!  Great way to end the practice for all :)

Stink Eye

Juliet's favorite game in the car is to try to give me the stink eye. She's pretty good at it unless some jammin tunes come on!

Our Last Farewell

We've been out of our home in Fort Worth for almost two weeks now. Here's a pic of our final farewell.

I promise to post pics of our new home just as soon as we take a break from unpacking and take some.
